About This Spot
Stepping into Cafeinado Coffee Co. feels like finding a quiet corner of Bakersfield where familiar warmth meets a pleasantly unexpected twist. This neighborhood coffee shop carries a relaxed, inviting air where the hum of conversation and the gentle clink of cups blend with the sweet scent of freshly baked pastries and rich brews. Time slows just a bit here, allowing moments to be savored whether you’re looping through the day’s rhythm or stopping in for a mindful pause.
The atmosphere strikes a comforting balance—clean and cozy, yet lively enough to keep the place humming with a quiet energy. It’s a space where the atmosphere invites you to linger over a cup and discover flavors influenced by Latino traditions, giving the menu a distinct personality beyond your typical coffee run. The drinks offer subtle layers that reveal themselves sip by sip, from velvety frappuccinos crowned with whipped cream to iced lattes infused with notes like cajeta and lechera, each crafted with an attentiveness that feels personal.
Alongside the coffee, there’s a thoughtful selection of delights that feel both familiar and made new. The kitchen’s take on classics—imagine a grilled cheese sandwich with a spicy kick of jalapeños or the sweet fragrance of pan de guava—creates a cozy sense of home with each bite. Whether it’s a breakfast sandwich savored slowly or a sweet concha fresh from the oven, these tastes carry a gentle, real comfort that complements the experience without fuss.
Here, friendliness is a quiet thread woven through the visit. The staff’s attunement to your preferences, their readiness to help you explore the menu and tweak sweetness or strength, makes each visit feel like a thoughtful exchange rather than a transaction. It’s easy to imagine regulars returning not just for the coffee but for the reassurance of that attentive, human connection.

Very nice coffee was really good and had a traditional Latino twist to it! Food and desserts so good! Atmosphere is clean and comfy. 10/10 man if they made conchas without the filling I’d buy a dozen the filling is great but wow that bread so soft crispy corners and amazing taste! Please get rewards points system would 100% come back again!

I was only in town for today and I couldn't decide between the Pistachio Macchiato and the Mazapán coffee so they combined them and it was the best flavored coffee I've ever had! The pistachio and Mazapán flavor were really good and it had crumbles of both as a topping and mixed in. They had lots of drink options, snacks and breakfast sandwiches. I love that they have different latin inspired flavors. The staff were really nice. The location has a super cute outdoor seating area. Definitely a date worthy location and great place to meet up with friends. Would definitely come again if I'm ever in the area!

I can't recommend this place more. The breakfast sandwiches are . They're like $5-$8 depending on what you get and they're extremely good. The drinks are awesome, big selection. A little sweet in the cold brew drinks, but I ask for an extra shot and half sweet and it's perfect.

After many recommendations, we decided to try cafeinado. We got there around 3, and it wasn't busy at all. The service was excellent and they made some suggestions based on what we like. We got the strawberries and creme agua Fresca and Abuelita iced late along with a shredded beef griller. They were all good but the drinks were way too sweet. I don't know if there's an option to adjust the sweetness level. Other than that, it was perfect.

The mazapan frappe is delicious! Cafe de la olla is perfect. My family and I visited 2 days in a row when we were in town. Always a must stop!

Nice place, good music playing, awesome outdoor seating. They were really nice and attentive. I need to try more things of the menu, I try the matcha strawberry and to my taste it was overly sweet I tent to like less sweet more coffee flavor. This drink in particular was so so sweet. We also try the concha with cream, they heat up the concha so by the time we got to eat it all the cream was already melted and all over the place. I really want to come back and try more things of their menu. I did not try the food so I can't give them ⭐ for that.
